Q. I forgot my username and/or password. What can I do? A. If you've just forgotten your password click "reset password" and fill out the info including your username, hint question and hint answer. Then you can change the password to something you will remember better. If you need your username click on "forgot username?" and type in the e-mail address you used to sign up. Q. What can I do to help volunteerusher.com? A. Sign up on days when we need more ushers. Sign up for more than one and bring friends. Q. Do I need any training? A. You will learn everything you need to know the night of the show. Q. Where are the theaters located? A. ACT Theatre is located downtown at 7th & Union and is connected to the convention center. Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center is located at 104 17th Ave. South 98144. Q. Does ACT validate parking? A. Parking vouchers for the convention center parking lot, located on 8th ave. under the convention center, are available at the ticket office for $3.50 only before the show. Q. Do ushers see the play for free? A. Yes. Q. What should I wear? A. Avoid T-shirts and jeans. Other than that it's ok to dress casually. Q. What if I have to cancel? A. Just contact us using the contact form. Please allow 48 hours notice. Q. What will I be expected to help with? A. Ushers are responsible for passing out programs, taking tickets, helping patrons find their seats and occasionally stuffing programs with different promotional material. Ushers will also be expected to help pick up after the show. Q. Where can I read about the plays? A. You can find a brief description of some of the plays at www.acttheatre.org Q. I signed up for a show last month and when I tried to "Register" for another show it just told me I was already in the system and wouldn't let me register again. Why? A. You only have to "register" the first time you use the system. After that you can just log in using your username and password and sign up for any available shows.
